@SiWheeler78@10DMark@sewateruk@Feargal_Sharkey Just imagine if that money went into infrastructure, imagine over the past few years, very bad look to tell families not fill up paddling pools on a record hot May bank holiday when they have mismanaged the business, its corporate negligence!
@10DMark@sewateruk@Feargal_Sharkey The issue is over thr years SE water have priotised paying shareholders over market interest on loans rather than investing in the infrastructure needed to do the basic job of the a water company, shareholders have been happy, paid bonuses on non-water business performance.
@Feargal_Sharkey Its staggering, SE water told me yesterday they were now losing 100 million litres a day through leaks, this shows corporate negligence over the years, the management have been more interested in paying shareholders millions in interest on loans at over market rates.
@sarahlustne@sewateruk It is staggering 100m litres a day lost through the network in South East Water area, the mismanagement over the yearsnis corporate negligence, they have paid millions in interest to shareholders at the neglect of the basic business to provide water.
@sewateruk@Feargal_Sharkey Hi Louise, thank you foe the information, it is a staggering amount of water to leak per day, especially when you are asking people not fill paddling pools on hottest May days on record, how do these figures compare on average for the last 5 years?
Shows how poorly managed @sewateruk has been over the years, feel for staff on the ground not their fault, yes CEO+Chair have resigned, is this corporate neglect though? they blame cold weather in the winter+hot weather in the spring/summer 🙄 @Feargal_Sharkey@ThreshedThought
@twtduk Let them play and if they go up they have 6 loint deduction, also have to pay other teams affected £25m each, so Middlesbrough, Derby and Wrexham.
