@nlgrrt I've been looking at what their niche(s) are, paying special attention to how that is delineated in the curriculum. I also look at how flexible the program is... A fully online program is important to me.
@Jen_Tan1234@EngNorman I've only been in the University sector for a year, but one thing I know as a previous K-12 teacher is that Higher Ed could learn alot from K-12! ๐ณ

@jepkep80 Kathy, thatโs exactly why rolling out things takes so long in โthe West.โ This program, in my opinion, is not in compliance with most countries who have privacy laws. But itโs being rolled out slowly BC every phone is equipped with facial recognition software, etc #EDU6323
@imiyapan#EDU6323 we did see some great implementations in Kenya and other parts of Africa in the first weeks of this class. Based on what we learned in EDU 6051, I'm concerned that it won't reach everyone. Cultural competence and capitalistic mindsets being in the forefront of my mind.
@KimWestemeier#edu6323 The Mesh system is being implemented in Asia. It's just not for the public yet (govt. only). Here is the info: https://t.co/dOOjdhrJbP Also, it's important to note that alot of tech "The West" is waiting for is already implemented in many parts of the globe.
@jepkep80 #EDU6323 I like the way one of the presenters in the video stated it is used as a review. which gives feedback, and the teacher then moves to the next topic.
