Some members of the billionaire Glazer family have been debating whether to sell their stake in Manchester United FC, after more than 20 years of ownership that has often been blighted by fan protest https://t.co/yn8zjFzVG5
Player of the Match. Chilly before the game, but Mared Griffiths is definitely keeping it warm when the game kicks off.
Indeed, you reap what you sow, and Eva Olid is starting to see the fruits of her trust in these academy girls.
A brace for Mared against Liverpool in the 5-3 win yesterday, taking her to six goals in the Subway Players’ Cup this season. Three against Sheffield, one against Durham, now two against the scousers. She’s scored in every game.
The first was a lovely effort after a sharp turn, the second pure striker’s instinct. She’s beginning to make it look like a routine.
Credit to Eva, too. She’s trusting these academy girls, giving them the platform to show what they can do, and Mared is repaying that faith.
Still only 19, but she’s definitely catching the eye of many. Even our very own Ella Toone.
As a Forest fan, I have zero love for United. My two penneth is: their culture has been suffocated. First by the Glazers and further by Ratcliffe. United is being led by unlikeable, passionless, cynical and penny pinching characters. They set the tone and, like a waterfall, it flows down, through every channel and into every corner. They have sucked the life & soul out of that football club. It’s only their hardcore, longstanding fanbase keeping their identity alive and yet they are doing everything to get them gone with their draconian season ticket policies.
Well said mate, you know it’s bad when rivals are writing posts like this, they killing our club financially strangling us to death, god only knows how were going to get them out? #Mufc
