PLEASE SHARE๐ | Princess Robbie Zinge (28), a midwife at United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) and a mother of one, is fighting for her life after lupus caused her kidneys to fail.
She was diagnosed with lupus in 2022 while pregnant with her first child. The illness left her bedridden during pregnancy, but she managed to give birth to a healthy baby boy. Earlier this year, doctors confirmed that she had developed end-stage kidney failure.
Princess is now undergoing dialysis twice every week to stay alive, at a cost of about US$190 per week. She was recently admitted to Mpilo Central Hospital after excess fluid built up in her body due to her failing kidneys.
Doctors have recommended a kidney transplant in India, which is expected to cost around US$20,000. The amount will cover medical tests, donor compatibility screening, the transplant surgery, hospital care, medication, travel and follow-up treatment. A family member has already volunteered to donate a kidney, but compatibility tests are still required before the operation can take place.
Her family says they have exhausted their savings trying to keep her alive and are now appealing to well-wishers, churches, companies and members of the public for financial assistance. They hope to raise enough money to give Princess a second chance at life and allow her to continue raising her young son.

Global Giant, Local Ground: Emirates SkyCargo 777F Touches Down in Harare
When the twin-engine rumble of @emirates SkyCargoโs Boeing 777F echoed across R.G. Mugabe Int. Airport at 5:30 pm today, it signalled far more than a routine touchdown. It delivered a massive vote of confidence directly into the Zimbabwean market.
Expertly marshalled onto the tarmac by the team at Aviation Ground Services (AGS), this production freighter is a dream for aviation purists, powered by twin General Electric GE90-110B1 engines belonging to the most powerful family of commercial jet engines and boasting a massive main-deck cargo door spanning 3.73 meters wide to swallow oversized payloads. With a maximum revenue payload capacity of 103 tonnes and a range capable of flying 9,065 kilometers fully loaded, this long-haul heavyweight is built to shrink global supply chains, giving @avi_ground a powerful tool to aggressively scale the flow of high-value exports and critical imports.
As the cargo holds are cleared and local trade pipelines open wide, Zimbabweโs logistics sector is actively going for a connected future.
