Covering Salford Vs Port Vale this afternoon for @pasport.

Two teams that were well fancied to win promotion ahead of the season, but have poorly.

20th placed Salford beat Newport 2-1 on Tuesday to pick up their first points of the season.

Winless Vale currently bottom.

My report from earlier. While Salford knocked on the door at the end and hit the post twice, Chesterfield could have been out of sight at HT.

Cklamovski said his side must be "steelier & sharper" to complete in League Two. Wholesale improvement needed.

Covering @SalfordCityFC Vs @ChesterfieldFC for @pasport this sunny Saturday afternoon.

A disastrous start for the home side, who've fallen behind inside 2 mins after Koroma pounced on a defensive mistake and his shot across goal was parried into the path of Bonis.

🟠 0-1 🔵

Kicking off the 2026/27 season covering @SalfordCityFC Vs @shrewsburytown.

Salford have ditched the red colours associated with the Class of 92, reverting back to orange

Molyneux and Langstaff are an eye catching front two; both start today after the club's big summer spending.

A few days off work to watch the magic #DRFC in sun-drenched Dublin.

Took a trip down Howth yesterday, a beautiful fishing village with superb coastal views and cracking pubs.

Bouncing around pubs today, bring on the Rovers. 🍺⚽

It was great to speak to Matty for @SalfordNow last week.

He's since smashed the ultra-marathon! 🏃

It's all for @jaksworld_org, a fantastic Salford charity doing some brilliant work across the city.

Salford City have signed striker Macaulay Langstaff from Millwall for an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old cited the club's owners as a major reason for joining.

Croatia Vs Portugal has been one of the best games I've seen so far this World Cup. Old guard Modric, Perisic and Kovacic have been sublime.
