I seriously love Gild Glove caliber defense but when you are 50+ points below the Mendoza line you can’t be anything but a late inning defensive replacement? And that contract?
Ke'Bryan Hayes is going to start hitting with Driveline in Arizona according to @CharlieG__.
Hayes has been on the IL with a back injury since May 21.

Trump took $59 million from 590,000 Americans for a phone that may never exist.
Then quietly updated the terms:
“No guarantee a phone will be produced or sold.”
The crypto coin. The sneakers. The Bible. The gold card. The ballroom. The phone.
Every single time the same pattern.
Take the money. Change the terms. Walk away.
GROSSE POINTE BLANK was released 29 years ago today.
Often considered underrated, the film follows a hitman returning home for his high school reunion, blending existential comedy with action, all set to a killer ‘80s soundtrack.
Donald Trump is a man of very low character whose whole life demonstrates it.
Robert Mueller was a man of very high character whose whole life demonstrated it.
The great division in our country is between people who understand these basic facts, and those who reject them.
From the citation accompanying the Bronze Star (with V for combat valor) that Marine Second Lieutenant Robert Mueller received for his actions in 1968, during the Vietnam War—the war Trump avoided:
“With complete disregard for his own safety, he then skillfully supervised the evacuation of casualties from the hazardous area and, on one occasion, personally led a fire team across the fire-swept area terrain to recover a mortally wounded Marine who had fallen in a position forward of the friendly lines.”
Months later, still serving our country in the war that Trump avoided, Mueller was wounded again, shot in the leg.
“I consider myself exceptionally lucky to have made it out of Vietnam,” Mueller told author Garrett Graff years later. “There were many—many—who did not. And perhaps because I did survive Vietnam, I have always felt compelled to contribute."
Robert Mueller went on to serve our country honorably in many other ways. His rock-solid integrity as a public official—and as a private citizen—will stand as an example and inspiration to all who learn about him, long after Donald Trump is gone.
