Lagos is not a real place.

Because it rained for 2 - 3 hours this afternoon, everywhere is blocked and it’s just 7pm.

Literally the Island just shut down, just to move within VI, something that would have taken me 20 mins, now almost 2 hours and I’ve not moved at all! Lagos!!!

It’s helping me to calm my nerves. It’s quite relaxing.

It’s helping me process some thoughts I haven’t dealt with. My hands are busy so my mind is ready to get some work done.

Last time I braided my hair myself was like 4 or 5 yrs ago…my scalp has been so sensitive I know it’s a bad idea to have my braider touch it.

So Sunday I said, do it yaself Dada. Shampooed, deep conditioned, moisturized and starting braiding.

So today is day 2…feels good

I realize that my elating Love for God Almighty is a response to His pure Love for me, His acceptance of me and His constant protective over me.

I have always seen God as my Almighty Father from childhood. Now it’s exciting to see God as other things to me.

There’s just something about God’s presence.

Oh the Peace, the Love you feel, like a warm and big hug and oh the Joy! It’s unexplainable.

Now imagine waking up to such a presence and carrying it with you through out the day.

No chaos, no lagos wahala can take it away. 🙏🏽

Anyone who is comfortable, very comfortable with pulling you out of the presence and WILL of God just to fulfill their own desires is not for you.

The person is a walking RED flag 🚩. You don’t need any Angel to come tell you this. Set your boundaries and have peace.

You get better at a thing when you keep doing it.
Practice. Keep practicing.
And when you are tired. Rest. Take a break.
Then go back to it.
After a while you become an expert.

Sometimes we say we are ready … but in truth and reality we are not.

The great thing is that God knows and if he trust Him, he ensures we are indeed ready before he places us in those places we long to be in.
