@rossjensen This is why you’re my favorite ranker. If you’re not aggressive, you’re not providing actionable information to your end users, and the fast risers are gone long before they make T100 lists.
At first glance, biggest omission for me is Sebastion Dos Santos.
So if Kamala Harris had started a war with Iran, gas prices doubled, and then held a UFC fight on the White House lawn, MAGA would’ve been totally normal and reasonable about it, right?
@HPace35@Nyanasaur It took me 10 seconds to discover Ian Rebhan (the dude you referred to) did play college baseball. You’re going to have to extend more effort than that to understand advanced analytics. Or, just enjoy the game and shut the fuck up. Either one.
Manny Machado on how baseball is evolving:
“I wish we could get the analytics out the way. I think there’s too many stats out there. Way too many numbers. I don’t even know half the stuff that goes up [on the scoreboard].”

@ArtThePatriot_ “The fatigue…” Didn’t Chud the Builder just get arrested for shooting someone?
If you have a problem with influencers using every day people as props in their quests for attention, I’d agree, it’s annoying. But you’re doing the same thing. You just use racism as your prop.
John Gil is the most underrated fantasy prospect in baseball, imo.
70 grade speed, 110 max EV, good contact rates, good eye, good defense, etc. The power leap has been loading for a while. It feels like this is the last opportunity to get him reasonably cheap.
@ASAP_Wicki@rossjensen PS I noticed the other day he’s now listed at 221. If he puts up another full year of .400 slugging, and his frame is already that filled out, are you telling me you’re not going to have questions about whether he’s going to seamlessly grow into his power the way we’ve been told?
@ASAP_Wicki@rossjensen I love using age-to-level when searching for prospects, but it’s not a 1-to-1 replacement for actually production. Tons of guys reach a certain level of play and never move past it, especially in the higher levels. When we’re talking about the #1, I prefer to see it first. Sorry.
@Wingedbrew13@rossjensen Fair question. I know you’re not asking me, but BB/K stands out. He has the best approach.
He also had the best 25’, so the early 26’ results seem more reliable. When dealing with such small sample sizes, support for the narrative I’m being sold > explosions out of nowhere.
I understand the appeal. I picked the kid up and swapped him for Kirby while chasing a ring (regret).
That being said, I’ve never seen a prospect receive a larger benefit of the doubt. We can’t ask for an OPS over .800 before we label a guy the next big thing?
