I HATE what "that side" of the internet has done to gaming discourse man.
Unless it's like Stellar Blade or Lara Croft with Boobs and Ass flopping about it's always "Woke" this "Woke" that.
It's 2026 bro like please wake up ๐ญ
Following news that development on Destiny 2 would be coming to an end, the game's community has started a petition asking Sony to greenlight a third entry in the series with an impressive turnout already. https://t.co/YAApzPrTAB
@nnarum We appreciate you - ALL of you.
Many of us on the team will be on the Tower on June 9 to visit Monument of Triumph with you.
While we're confident the servers won't crash, we've seen some posts floating around. Our Operations Center is prepared for the challenge.
I've seen (& signed) the petition going around. But I think the much more powerful response if you're hoping for some kind of future for the franchise is:
Log on the week of June 9th.
Dont' get me wrong, Sony execs aren't gonna fall to their knees in tears and insta-green-light D3 or anything. But seeing SO many players out there logging on to give one last hurrah to the franchise that meant so much to them - it'll speak volumes in its own way.
At the very least, we'll have one more window of fun enjoying the last batch of new content in a game that meant so much to us. At best, it'll show how passionate the community still is, and just how badly so many of us want SOME kind of future for this franchise, no matter how long it might take to build.
I'll see you out there in June. It's gonna be one hell of a ride.
Honestly mourning the end of Destiny. I was a day 1 player back when I was singing opera. I'll never forget that first night sitting on the loading screen wondering what the game held in store. I made so many friends and so many memories. For a spell destiny was all I played. Halo was never a game I interacted with so for me Destiny IS Bungie. Truly, it's a huge loss. Huge loss.
I support signing the Destiny 3 petition and having as many people logging in on June 9 as possible as ways of supporting the series and studio
Just...keep expectations in check about any miracles

At its best, content was a machine to create memories and friendships. No new content stings.
This pain is about losing a place where so many memories were made. It stings not because of what it was, but the realization of what it won't be.
