Wolverine and Piccollo voice actor Scott McNeil celebrates his 64th birthday today! 🎉

Dinobot. Rattrap. Waspinator. Silverbolt. Four wildly different personalities in Beast Wars: Transformers, yet all four came from the same performer.

That remarkable range is the perfect snapshot of Scott McNeil’s career. Beyond Transformers, his unmistakably versatile voice has taken him through Marvel as Wolverine, Dragon Ball Z as Piccolo, Inuyasha as Kōga, Gundam Wing as Duo Maxwell, and countless animated and gaming worlds. McNeil has even described his Beast Wars work as some of the work he is proudest of.

Some of his memorable characters include:
Wolverine / Logan (X-Men: Evolution)
Dinobot (Beast Wars: Transformers)
Piccolo (Dragon Ball Z)
Rattrap (Beast Wars: Transformers)
Waspinator (Beast Wars: Transformers)
Kōga (Inuyasha)
Duo Maxwell (Mobile Suit Gundam Wing)
Hecarim (League of Legends)
Hohenheim of Light (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Proto Man (Mega Man)
Dr. Wily (Mega Man)
Silverbolt (Beast Wars: Transformers)
Sion (League of Legends)
Ken Masters (Street Fighter)
Foghorn Leghorn (Baby Looney Tunes)
Gerald “Tall Boy” Petite (Riverdale)

Few performers can make four characters sharing the same screen sound completely unrelated, and his enormous collection of heroes, villains, robots, mutants, and anime favorites has made him one of those voices fans can encounter almost anywhere.

Happy 64th birthday, Scott McNeil! 🎂🎙️
