sales is more than belief in a product, a service, or in yourself. Your customer must believe in the story your product tells, not about itself, but about themselves. https://t.co/M5t6eAkSMW
After a long hiatus from wrestling social media, I’m back. Because I am riding a book about the confluence of professional wrestling and marketing.
I’m looking for people willing to share their stories about either or both.
So you’re telling me grown-ass men The Young Bucks and won’t be on my TV fighting for Kenny Omega’s attention like a couple of high school girls for a while? Count me in.
Congrats @AEW. You have the safe space promotion you wanted, where everyone is best friends and plays video games together and never gets any bigger than they are now.
I know public gyms are supposed to be safe spaces these days, but I can smell maple syrup and hear Coldplay.
I’m not sure how dedicated these people are.
Two generations of fans have been conditioned to think a wrestling company is supposed to be a heel.
The promotion itself has always been a babyface, even when upholding rules benefitted the dastardly heel.
We finally have a babyface promotion again, and it’s confusing people.
@JcMyers18 The difference, I hope, is that 98 WCW was fueled by strippers, coke and network money. AEW seems fueled by love of the game.
Oh, and a family with FU money.
