After a few days of processing what was a day to be remembered for the rest of my life, I’m finally sharing some photos taken during King Charles’ 75th Birthday Reception. What an honour and a privelege to be there among the greats. 🇬🇧🇵🇭

Then and now...in 1999, a group of nurses arrived from the Philippines, ready to begin their careers. Last month, they celebrated 25 years since their arrival. 🎉
Congratulations and thank you for everything you've have done for our Trust and for our NHS! 💙
A group of Internationally Educated Nurses, winners/nominees at our Nursing and Midwifery Awards, enjoyed a trip to London & the Houses of Parliament last month.
Some were invited to thank them for supporting new IENs. Lead Nurse, Edel Sabas said the day was "awe-inspiring"! 💙
Healthcare support worker Junior supported a distressed patient in a very challenging situation.
He has been recognised for his quick thinking and bravery with a @CavellCharity#CavellStarAward presented by our Chief Nurse. ⭐
Congratulations Junior, we're so proud of you! 👏
Our Careers and Wellbeing roadshow has been doing the rounds at our hospitals, visiting our wards and talking to our nursing teams about career development, learning, wellbeing support and networks.
The focus this month is pastoral care. 💙

A Saturday well spent. Another IEN listening event with our chief nurse @HaworthJo. It was well attended with presentation of good practice and to have an opportunity to once again hear #IENs experiences to see what else we can improve on.

His Majesty The King has sent his personal heartfelt thanks to all nurses and midwives in England on the occasion of the #CNOSummit2023, after inviting 450 internationally educated nurses and midwives to his birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. #TeamCNO#Proud
I don’t know where HM King Charles @RoyalFamily gets his energy from but spending your birthday with 400+ International Nurses & Midwives is a feat in itself!
Thank you for being so gracious, listened to all our quirky but unique stories❤️
We get to sing him a Happy birthday!
