Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested 135 suspected cultists during coordinated raids carried out across various criminal hideouts and black spots in the state. The operation was conducted based on intelligence reports of planned cult-related violence linked to the July 7 celebration and initiation activities.

The raids involved Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), Tactical Commanders, and the Violent Crime Response Unit (VCRU). According to police, the operation led to the recovery of 26 fir£arms, 16 dangerous we@pons including cutlasses, battle axes, daggers, and knives, as well as cult insignia, assorted charms, suspected Indian hemp, other illicit drvgs, six mobile phones, and several bottles of alcohol. Investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest additional suspects, while those already in custody will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.

Naija Confra would like to add that the beret being displayed is associated with the NBM (Aye) cult group, and the arrest made on July 7, is a day marked by NBM cultists, indicating that the suspects are likely NBM cultists. Reject Cultism.
