“War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn to live together in peace by killing each other's children.” Jimmy Carter
“Van Gogh defies every setback; he does the impossible; he does not give up.” says Anselm Kiefer. He admires Van Gogh’s perseverance, believing this persistence led to masterpieces. Now on view: Sag mir wo die Blumen sind.

#ThrowbackThursday to June 14, 1775. It's when the #USArmy was founded almost 250 years ago.
Save the date – next June 14, when we’ll honor our past and embrace our future.
Until then, share this post and join us in counting down to our 250th birthday.
This We’ll Defend!
Can I just answer this once? Men have an advantage in pool with upper body strength. That is huge on the break. The break is huge in pool. They have larger reach. They have larger hands for making a bridge. More stability over the balls. They have a physical advantage in massé which is when you’re over the ball and hitting straight down on it to make it curve around another ball. They don’t have to deal with pain every month that interferes with practice.
And the number one reason why we have women’s leagues is that we want them. No one shouldn’t be taking these away from women.
Why do women play at all? There is no other choice. Many leagues and places won’t let them have a woman only league. By law. So they play in an unfair competition or don’t get to play at all. It’s a hard choice.
Non è esattamente il classico nasino alla francese.
Tuttavia è il naso più bello e iconico di tutta la storia dell'arte.
Non siete d'accordo?!

CERN's experiments are global efforts. The 2025 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics honors over 13,000 researchers whose labors have led to the precise description the Higgs mechanism, the discovery of dozens of new particles, analysis of rare processes and matter-antimatter asymmetry and exploration of nature at the shortest distances and most extreme conditions. https://t.co/OSDzo6jMHF @CERN
@GSTATER3@Brewpubpolitics@WallStreetApes I worked for the State Govt. & they had the same mindset. When I tried to save $50,000, I was reprimanded & they said "they won't give it to us next year, so find STUFF to buy whether we need it or not"....CRAZY....this is taxpayers money!!!
Oggi siamo abituati a vedere immagini di nudo. Quasi completamente assuefatti. Ma che effetto doveva fare nel '500 o anche nei secoli successivi un dipinto tanto intimo ed esplicito?

One note on the impeachment-of-judges debate: Whatever one thinks of the issue, it is plainly wrong, indeed egregiously wrong, to say that the case for impeachment rests on “mere dislike of the results the judges have reached” or some such. The case for impeachment is that the judges have abused their powers. That is an entirely different type of claim.
