No hate intended towards this person so please don’t go after them, but I’m genuinely so tired of the idea that if you have a character with an “unconventional” body type you have to exaggerate their features in order for people to understand what gender they’re supposed to be.

Beau from the Mighty Nein is a great example. She’s tall, muscular, broad-shouldered, with narrow hips, a strong jawline, and a deep husky voice. We know she’s female because of how she refers to herself and how other characters refer to her. that’s it! That’s all it takes!

Nott from the same show is also a great example because she’s not even human and is voiced by a man but she’s still female.

If you can accept that the Xenomorph Queen is female then you can accept that a human who doesn’t have a stereotypically feminine body type is female too.
