Everyone wants to know where they are from. My ancestors were likely from Gorlice, Poland. The town’s Jewish community was exterminated in the Holocaust, yet today the town’s leaders are working to honor the lives lost and remember the past, setting an example for us all.

Earlier today we joined the @SecondGentleman in welcoming 50 #NewUSCitizens during a special #WorldRefugeeDay ceremony at the New-York Historical Society. Most of these new citizens are refugees, and it was an absolute honor to celebrate them on such an important day.
