@TimesRadio Tim Lawton is an idiot. How condescending. Joan Bakewell is the first person to actually try to ‘understand’ what Lineker was trying to say. In truth, he is right. The intolerance of his view proves his point.
@MattChorley@TimesRadio i always had the feeling that the person who arranged Mick Fleetwood and Sam Fox did it on their last day in their job and just say back laughing on the night.
@MattChorley That gives a worrying view of Starmer running around like a demented parrot “ Don’t get complacent; Don’t get complacent; Don’t get complacent…..”
Wes Streeting tells @KateEMcCann on @TimesRadio:
“If I’d had a pound for every time Keir Starmer told us not to be complacent I’d be able to join Rishi Sunak on the Sunday Times Rich List.”
@RMCunliffe Disclaimer. I am not a virologist. Because of the 2 year lockdown, we weren’t exposed to as many ‘normal’ germs and so did not build ip the resilience we usually do so now we are more vulnerable to illness.
@MattChorley@TimesRadio nerd listener. You can tell who got where in the quiz by the q they got wrong. Steven got Pittsburgh wrong so that was foreign sec. Jim (?) got the IMF HQ in Washington q wrong so chancellor.
Agree with the general point that you can’t keep harping back. In todays exchange the point was Labour had 13 years to do something and did nothing but the Tories had done something (even if that isn’t enough). Fair point.
