Our Reception Class book last week was Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers. The children have produced AMAZING paintings of the penguin from the book and these are now on display. They have also produced their first pieces of writing for Literacy. @ASSETEdu @OliverJeffers

Children in year 3/4 enjoyed being scientists this afternoon while classifying sea creatures as part of their topic Blue Abyss. Lots of scientific language used & understood - habitat, diet, omnivore, adaptations, mammals, etc - & willingness to learn. @ASSETEdu #educatingedgar

Year 3&4 have had their first ukulele lesson where they learnt how to hold the instrument and pluck strings in the right order at the right time, while occasionally singing a song. WoW! Great concentration & singing voices. #octopusukulele @CharangaMusic @ASSETEdu #educatingedgar

We have some amazing staff at Edgar Sewter. On Saturday 31st July Mrs Pope & Miss Reeve completed the Macmillan Dedham Vale Mighty Hike 2021 (26miles!). They have raised nearly £1000 for this fantastic charity. We are so proud of them! @ASSETEdu @macmillancancer
