How WB expected every DC fan to react after greenlighting a bunch of guardians of the galaxy ripoffs over getting to see supes beating Darkseid's ahh for the first time in live action
Notice how he's confident, cool calm and collected here? That's supes. Him screaming at people & throwing tantrums in the movie is all Gunn. Lol. Lmao
Feels like an appropriate time to mention that Tom King, the author of Woman of Tomorrow and consultant for the DCU is an ex CIA agent that publicly spoke about his involvement in planning out the Iraq War. Please stop supporting his work.
@Devsblitzkrieg3@UltraBiasedFan MOS : 225M budget, 667M box office -> Flop according to you
Superman : 225M budget, 615M box office -> Huge success
You are dumb dumb
@leoninepuffy@UltraBiasedFan I will channel into whatever I want buddy. Dont think people arent clocking how the barometer of success for DCU has become "breaking even" lmao
God the magnetism BvS had on audiences will never be forgotten
This gif is the point of Lex Luthor’s plan. It’s the main point of criticism the people on Earth have for Superman. Poetic
They want to have their cake and eat it too.
People take these mythical characters seriously, but do not want the characters themselves to be serious.
This is why Zack Snyder continues to be crucified by DC fans for treating the characters just as serious as they take them.
Can I say something without people getting mad at me? Why is Superman this "aww shucks" goofy guy when that should be Clark Kent. Superman should be a smooth operator. Christopher Reeve is the blueprint.
I personally find it an odd choice to make Clark unable to understand or speak Kryptonian, despite having full access to the Fortress of Solitude, particularly in context with how Superman ‘25 portrays his relationship to his immigrant/alien status. But, hey that’s just me.
