The inauguration of Navi Mumbai International Airport has been postponed.

Forest Minister Ganesh Naik informed that the airport will not be inaugurated on the scheduled date of 30th.

He also expressed confidence that the airport will be named after D. B. Patil. Once final approval comes from the central government, the official name will remain "D. B. Patil International Airport."
