you can spend years living a perfectly comfortable life while quietly going nowhere. you don’t hate your life, but you’re not building anything either. you stop learning unless you’re forced to. stop setting goals until money or circumstances scare you into action. spend more time discussing what’s happening in the world than what you’re actually doing with your own life. and the scariest part? you may not even notice it happening. sometimes the real danger isn’t being unhappy. it’s becoming so comfortable that you stop asking yourself what you’re capable of.

BEING SHY MAKES YOU LOSE IN LIFE
Be egoistical. Stop losing opportunities. Stop wasting your potential. No energy. No drive. Afraid. Depressed. Start living. Other people’s opinions don’t matter. Become unapologetic. Older generations say, “We also struggled in our 20s.”
No, you didn’t. You didn’t pay rent that consumes half your entire paycheck. You didn’t work 2 jobs just to cover basics. You didn’t apply to 200 jobs and face silent rejections. Gen Z isn’t dramatic. They’re drowning.
it shows a remarkable degree of restraint on the part of 18-24 year olds that only a handful of them are choosing to drive into oncoming traffic each week when unpaid shelf stacking is the sole offer on the table
Society has become hyperindividualistic and isolated.
Third spaces are literally shrinking, you can barely leave house the house without it costing money, loneliness is an Epidemic right now.
We are losing our natural ability of socializing.
Full grown adults that can’t swim, cycle, skate, backpack, take a gap year, vacation, play an instrument or speak multiple foreign languages. Just a lifetime of hustling and trying to leave survival mode. These are subtle poverty metrics that no one really talks about
