Are we leaving home… or leaving it behind?
From Akwa Ibom to Lagos, Abuja, and beyond young people are chasing bigger dreams and greener pastures. But here’s the real question:
Has Akwa Ibom fallen behind, or is it simply being outpaced?
And more importantly, are we ever coming back?
This week on our Substack, we unpack the movement, the mindset, and the meaning of “home” in a generation always on the move: https://t.co/O6p9rHtb3T

2025 has been a good year! One of the highlights was planning and successfully having the Edi Kup Mbuk Art Exhibition.

Who organizes an art exhibition without good food? Not us!
We are still reminiscing on the experience we had last saturday and the food was one of the highlights. Even our guests could attest. We represented our culture in every way!

We were so busy basking in the beauty of the exhibition, but it's never too late to say Happy New Month to you!
It's December people! Time to count those blessings and set new goals. Hosting an unforgettable art exhibition is one goal we smashed this year!
How about you???
Tonight, we told stories.
Art came alive!
But the beauty of it all? The people who came to be part of the story the laughter, the pauses, the quiet moments of wonder. Tonight, we didn’t just view art… we felt it.

Stories are being told!
History is being made right here at Cafe One.
We have just one question: Are you here to behold this beauty too or have you chosen to make do with the highlights?
