@CardsOrDie of course, making a rulebook is a hell of a task... Saddly for new games, it wont be polished until thousands of players give their feedback on what they didnt understand and how they teach the game to their friends :P here is the youtube boom "how to play" channels
@CardsOrDie Difficulty is some times confused with deepness. For example, a game about trhowing 200 die and the objective is to get 1 in every single dice, it's a difficult game, but it doesn't have deepness at all. [continue in the next comment]
@CardsOrDie It's usefull, we should take care of it if we are looking for fast, party or very brainly games. That's all, so we should avoid saying "is so hard i didnt enjoy it" because that "hard" could be many things, mostly subject to the player's inclinations

@CardsOrDie The best example is a game with many mechanics (lets say a deck building with board movement and resource managment), is hard to learn because the player must memorize all the rules of each single mechanic, but wont tell us anything about the deep or dificulty of ingame play.
@CardsOrDie in the other hand is how hard is to learn the game rules? in this case, the game may be deep or not, may be difficult to win or not... but the learning curve, how long do i take to learn the game?, may be high or low.
