Emmanuel, what you posted is neither here nor there as far as defamation law is concerned. Being a lawyer does not mean you know what you are saying, because you are totally out of order, especially in your classless assessment of Kenneth Okonkwo’s statement, which was neither jest nor a mere political jab as criticism of Obi’s political ideology or vision as a candidate.

Mr Okonkwo was clearly malicious and directly intentional in his allegations with unequivocal aim to damage, discredit and humiliate Mr Peter Obi on 3rd party information, which his purported informer did not seem to support.

Mr Obi deny the allegations and has asked the court to intervene so that Kenneth Okonkwo will proudly go with evidence of Obi’s wrong doing to justify Mr his claims against Obi in the court of law.

There will be no defamation if Kenneth can show the court proof that he did not lie against Obi. But if he fails to provide the proof, Kenneth Okonkwo will surely go back to his m life in bondage.

As for you Emmanuel Ogar, if in your view, Mr Peter Obi has no reputation, your not worth the honour befitting people the legal profession because you lack mental capacity to distinguish between good and bad, day and night, lawfulness and lawlessness.

Mr Peter Obi is addressed as His Excellency.
HE Peter Obi has been to several renowned universities in the world to deliver lectures to professors and students, and delivered speeches to multinational companies directors across the world.

He was a 2 term State Governor and Chaired the board of more than 5 major banks. He served as member of Nigeria Economic Team under President Obasanjo.
Even Gen. Sani Abacha allowed Mr Obi to successfully eased congestion at Apap Port.

Furthermore, HE Obi contested election as VP and as Presidential candidate. Despite being in the public domain as a billionaire businessman and a politician, EFCC, Police, DSS etc has nothing against him.
