From the Europe Postgraduate Research Group, we would like to congratulate our co-convenor @andrea_christou on her recent and successful thesis defence on the relationship between citizens and elites in EU foreign policy at @EdinburghUni!

Her findings suggest that citizen involvement has important implications for the sustainability and legitimacy of EU FP, which demonstrates that policy-makers have a strong incentive to make policies that will be responsive to citizen discourse and resonate with citizens.
