@XH_Lee23 I disagree. They invest in controlling people’s lives. The reason why the US isn’t on the list is freedom to choose to live where you want. Rural, semi rural, urban. Grouped population is far easier to control than a population which is spread out. It is all about control.
They are illegally driving. Illegal is not an emotional term, it is a qualifying term. When the government allowed the huge influx of refugees into the country, they started driving, happy that they had an air conditioned bed working for practically nothing. This drove American citizens and companies out of business. It also spiked up the accident/ death ratio between trucks and cars. Mika, I can clearly see you have no experience with what is truly transpiring. Do the non speakers have air brake endorsements? All semis have air brakes. What about haz mat certifications? If they cannot read or speak, what do they do if they have a spill, leak Or emergency. I can see it now…. 911 what’s your emergency… and the response is Aba dabba doo! Please, think beyond your emotional limits on this subject. I have faith you can do this!
I had an employment contracting firm call me saying he could assign “dial for dollars” marketers to my company and increase my brokering by “x” percent. I ripped him a new ass and told him both companies and people like him are destroying the industry. Companies and their leadership are being bombarded with 20-30 calls a day with idiots saying they could do it cheaper, faster. These people have no clue and have turned decision makers against the industry. They now think we are a commodity! If you job involves rapid dial for dollars and you have no clue about logistics (the management of freight at rest and in motion) landed cost, driver costs, driver or company cost to operate including capital equipment replacement, insurance, taxes, fuel and how many miles a tractor goes per gallon of diesel, capacity, wages, and even simple costs for operating ( nobody likes going to Connecticut or South Florida during off season) then please get a new job!!
To me this makes no sense. The cost of that machine has to be many tens of thousands. Then add maintenance, insurance all to deliver what today is a $30-50 dollar meal. Then you have some stranger leaning over your food to get theirs if it is a multi-stop run. What kind of ROI is there here and what food safety standard is there? On one hand you can’t deliver one at a time… all in the name of laziness or the excuse of “I can’t” instead of “I can”!
It feels like the US has lost the bold engineering / architectural/ sky scraping “wow” project vision compared to countries elsewhere. We have been for decades fighting wars while others make progress advancing their society. Ugh… just how I feel. The USA used to lead in all these areas.
@XH_Lee23 China didn’t open its markets to the USA. They half opened the market to Apple and Tesla. The other half went to a Chinese company. So, why don’t we do the same to China. Make Ford own 1/2 of BYD and Apple own 1/2 of Huawei? That’s fair!! Open your eyes Li and stop lying!!
