The US supposedly entered this war for Israel to "free" the Iranian people and "regime change" - did not happen. Trump declared the terms: unconditional surrender, no ballistic missiles, no ties to Hezbollah ect - none of this happened. And the Straight of Hormuz is now at least partially under Iran's control.
