Imagine if even a fraction of the billions this government has given away to foreign aid, corporate subsidies, endless bureaucracy had gone into actual forest management, firefighting capacity, or building an economy strong enough to protect its own people.

Instead we get photo ops, slogans, and a leader who can work “reduced hours” from Europe while Canada is on fire.
