Kalonzo Musyoka has promised to reform the police service, saying:
"Tutarekebisha idara ya polisi wakuwe wanapigia wananchi saluti."
He says the police have become goons and the system needs fixing.
I genuinely hope he means it.
Every Kenyan seems to have a story involving police harassment, intimidation, extortion, brutality, or abuse of power. The trust between citizens and law enforcement has been badly damaged.
Mandatory body cameras. CCTV in police stations and cells. Independent investigations. Real consequences for officers who break the law.
None of these ideas is revolutionary. The question is whether anyone is willing to implement them.
Kenyans have listened to promises before. What they want now is proof.
If a future government can finally break police impunity, it would be one of the biggest changes this country has seen in a generation.
Kenyans don't want another Ruto government that promises change and delivers more of the same.
Breaking: The implications of William Ruto's decision to allow Ebola patients into Kenya are already being felt.
Israel has reportedly banned Kenyans from travelling to Israel.
Ruto makes the decisions. Ordinary Kenyans pay the price.
If things go wrong, he will still board a plane and fly out. The mwananchi will be left dealing with the consequences.
This is what Greed has got us.
NTV has decided kuamsha ulcers.
On June 1st 2024, while in Kanduyi Bungoma, My President promised to deliver a new stadium of international standard. He said the new Masinde Muliro International Stadium was going to be ready by December 2024.
NTV visited the same stadium in June 2026, over 2 years later. It's a grazing field with grass longer than the cows themselves. The infrastructure is dilapidated and may have to be replaced anew.
What really is the problem with My President and his promises?
Is it that he over promises or he over forgets? Or both?
BREAKING: The Auditor General has warned that the Finance Bill 2026 could make life more expensive for ordinary Kenyans & threaten Ruto's BETA goals.
Here's how:
• Medicine prices could rise because pharmaceutical manufacturers will face higher production costs after VAT changes on key inputs.
• Animal feed prices could rise because feed manufacturers and farmers will no longer be able to easily recover VAT on inputs, increasing the cost of livestock production.
• Transaction costs could rise because VAT exemptions on money transfers and payment processing are being removed.
• Affordable housing could become more expensive because approved projects will now face an additional 16% VAT on certain goods and materials.
In simple terms:
You could pay more at the pharmacy.
Farmers could pay more to feed livestock.
Businesses could pay more to move money.
What makes this story even more interesting is that when some of us raised these concerns, we were told we were lying and spreading propaganda.
Now the Auditor General is warning Parliament about the very same issues.
If medicine, food production, and digital transactions all become more expensive, who exactly benefits from the Finance Bill 2026?
Ruto Booed At State House: Marsabit and Moyale Residents Reject Imaginary Projects and Mandazi Bribes
Residents of Marsabit and Moyale counties were herded to State House Nakuru yesterday like livestock for a so-called briefing on “development projects” by the British-backed war criminal and mass murderer William Ruto.
The moment the pathological liar opened his mouth - peddling fantasies about imaginary projects and shamelessly trying to steal credit for the Isiolo-Moyale highway built by Mwai Kibaki, the crowd erupted in boos, exposing the emperor’s nakedness.
Unable to stomach the barrage of empty rhetoric, the fed-up residents turned rowdy, forcing Ruto’s security to violently evict them from the venue.
They stormed out in disgust, rightly decrying the utter waste of time and the insulting emptiness of the entire charade.
In classic Ruto fashion, the regime attempted to buy their silence with a pathetic handout of two thousand (2,000) shillings each, accompanied by a few mandazis and tea - the standard bribe for subjects expected to clap for their own oppression.
Pathetic.
STRANGE: I checked the Budget and could not find any allocation for the new Mombasa ferry that President Ruto promised residents.
The only ferry project mentioned is for Lake Victoria.
If there is no separate funding arrangement, then it could mean Kenyans were misled or lied to by him.
Right now, there are only three possibilities:
-The government promised a ferry without budgeting for it.
-The ferry will be financed through a loan.
-The project is being funded directly by KPA.
If none of those explanations materialize and there is still no ferry by December, we will conclude that once again, Kenyans were lied to.
Promises are easy. Funding is what proves whether a project is real.
Kenya hosts millions of them from South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Rwanda, Burundi and even Nigeria yet we don't go about beating them on the streets.
William Ruto opened a furniture factory in Eldoret last year October.
Suddenly, forests are being cleared for state lodges.
And suddenly, in the 2026/27 budget, Ksh 5.3B has been allocated for Furnitures and General Equipment.
Remember Meru Governor said that the state lodge in Meru will be equipped using furniture made from the wood cleared in the forest.
What he didn't tell you, is whose factory will make and supply the furniture.
William Ruto is a thug who thinks that thuggery is a hustle.
A President who is in business with taxpayers money is a thug!
#RutoMustGoNow
Tomorrow Armenia goes to polls. One of the candidates hoping to be elected Prime Minister is Artak Sargsyan of Kochari National Revival and Awakening of the Nation Party.
Long time ago, he was in Kenya as Artur Margaryan.
It is not well. Do those kids in custody really know the pain they caused to these parents? Those terrorists should never taste freedom again. May God be with all the grieving families.💔💔💔
JUST IN: The State Department for Sports spent KSh 4.34 billion on sports training and competitions in just 9 months.
But it gets worse.
Its original allocation was only KSh 750 million. The Controller of Budget reveals that spending exceeded the approved budget by billions.
And what exactly did Kenyans get in return?
Only 6 national teams participated in international competitions.
Only 600 athletes were enrolled in sports academies.
Meanwhile, Harambee Stars players have publicly complained about poor conditions. Kenyan athletes keep complaining about neglect. Some have even been forced to fundraise from ordinary Kenyans just to travel abroad and represent the country, then return home with medals.
So where did KSh 4.34 billion go?
Because it clearly did not go to the athletes.
Billions are being spent. Athletes are still begging for support. Facilities remain poor. Complaints never end.
The people sweating for the flag are fundraising. The people sitting in offices are cashing out.
And the Cabinet Secretary for Sports is Salim Mvurya.
JUST IN: President Ruto says he is Kenya's chief diplomat and that critics don't understand why he travels so much.
But Kenyans are not children.
Mwai Kibaki travelled far less and delivered results people could see. Magufuli travelled far less, and Tanzania changed before people's eyes.
Ruto has made well over 120 foreign trips, signed hundreds of agreements, and spent billions on travel.
What exactly have these trips delivered?
Not promises. Not MoUs. Not press conferences.
Real projects. Real industries. Real jobs.
If a president travels that much, we should be able to point to major factories, industrial parks, railways, power plants, and investments that came from those trips.
Instead, Kenyans are being told to stop asking questions and simply trust the process.
Why?
This is why we track the flights. This is why we demand accountability. Public money was used, so the public deserves answers.
JUST IN: US meat traders have written to President Trump urging him to pressure Kenya into removing barriers and allowing more US meat imports.
Their argument? Kenya benefits from AGOA while restricting access to its meat market.
And watch this space: William Ruto's government will likely bow to that pressure.
But here's the question: Does Kenya have a meat shortage? No.
And even if we did, why should Kenya import meat from the US when livestock farmers in Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, and across Africa can supply the region?
AGOA was supposed to help Africa industrialize, not turn us into a dumping ground for products we already produce ourselves.
Africa needs stronger rules that prioritize African producers first.
My biggest concern with the JKIA upgrade is not the project itself.
It's what it says about our priorities.
Even if Kenya can afford a KSh300+ billion airport upgrade...
When will we see a KSh300 billion plan for schools and hospitals?
Not a few schools.
Not a few hospitals.
All of them.
Every public school renovated.
Every classroom fixed.
Every laboratory equipped.
Every dormitory modernized.
Every public hospital upgraded.
Every critical piece of equipment provided.
Because these are the things that touch ordinary Kenyans every day.
Every Kenyan goes to school.
Every Kenyan goes to hospital.
Most Kenyans will never use an airport as often as they use a school, a health centre or a hospital.
You can be wealthy today and still find yourself in an emergency in a rural part of Kenya, depending on the nearest public hospital to save your life.
That is why I believe Kenya needs leaders who focus first on the services that affect every citizen, not just the projects that make the biggest headlines.
The day a government transforms schools and hospitals across the country with the same urgency it gives mega projects, paying taxes will start feeling less like a burden and more like an investment.
A modern airport is important.
A functioning school and hospital in every corner of Kenya is priceless.
The Executive under William Ruto spent KSh 703 MILLION on hospitality in just 9 months.
Parliament spent another KSh 283 MILLION.
That's KSh 986 MILLION.
Almost KSh 1 BILLION.
Meanwhile, the same government allocates just KSh 95 per learner per term.
Think about what that means.
They take more taxes from Kenyans every year.
They tell us there is no money.
No money for schools.
No money for services.
No money to ease the burden on struggling families.
Yet there is nearly KSh 1 BILLION for their own hospitality.
We are being robbed.
The taxpayer works.
The taxpayer pays.
The political class eats.
KSh 95 for a child.
KSh 986 million for politicians.
That tells you everything you need to know about their priorities.
1.2 Trillion Is Going To Service Debts. Both Internal & External
