Students in Ms Stewart’s 4th grade class had a special guest speaker for #HispanicHeritageMonth. Student Adrian’s mother, Jackie Poliocarpio, came and shared her heritage with them on Friday. The students ate Hispanic candy, listened to music, and did a craft!

Miss Horn’s 2nd grade class learned about Guatemala this week. The national bird is the Quetzal, an endangered bird native to Central American mountains and jungles. You can see the quetzal on the Guatemalan flag and money. #HispanicHeritageMonth

Fifth grade GT students were challenged to build structures using only index cards. Structures were tested for strength, as well.
