@Time2WakeUp1899 I agree!!! That painting speaks to me on so many levels. I can relate to the caged bird and hope some day I can have the freedom of a bird soaring through the sky. #freedom
How trifle “Women whose lives are food” seem. I avoid being restrained by expectations and it’s not just because I’m a bad cook. I’m fine with “men whose lives are money” as long as I continue to profit from it, but I do refuse to follow “simple, terrible, routine”

My art skills seem elementary compared to Evelyn de Morgan’s. Her painting #TheGuildedCage speaks to me. Does everyone desire freedom or is that saved for those who are the most deprived of it? In a cage a birds wings are nothing more than decoration.
You never truley realize what’s important to you until you are forced to go through everything. Moving is a good way to start with a clean slate. So thankful that Léonce has all this extra stuff in the house for me to use. Shoutout to Alcée for all the help...

It can be nice to connect with people who understand you. Sometimes it takes embracing yourself in order to find the identity that has been hidden for so long. Maybe I’ve learned to ignore expections, or “maybe I just don’t care” #LeeMokobeTEDtalk
