Patriarchy is a husband who kills your children because you want to be a free woman.

Once thought to roam across South America, new research reveals this elusive predator is actually the only wild cat species strictly endemic to Chilean territory. A silent hunter of the dense brush, it remains one of the most mysterious members of the local fauna.

🇨🇳 | Siete perros robados a sus dueños en el noreste de China se han vuelto virales tras escapar de sus captores y regresar a casa. Los animales fueron presuntamente sustraídos por traficantes para ser vendidos en un mercado de carne de perro.

Lograron escapar de un camión en movimiento mientras circulaba por la autopista Changshuang. Se cree que el grupo recorrió unos 17 km, liderado por un Corgi, a través de carreteras y campos.

Durante los 17 kilómetros de trayecto, que duró dos días, el Corgi asumió el liderazgo marcando la ruta, mientras que el resto de la manada flanqueaba y protegía a un Pastor Alemán que se encontraba herido de una pata, asegurando que nadie se quedara atrás.

Testigos que intentaron acercarse para ayudarlos o guiarlos informaron que los perros ignoraron cualquier intervención humana, manteniéndose unidos y enfocados únicamente en seguir su camino hacia el pueblo.

Gracias a que los videos de su travesía se hicieron virales en redes sociales, voluntarios y vecinos pudieron rastrear su progreso. Finalmente, los siete perros llegaron a su hogar sanos y salvos, donde se reencontraron con sus dueños, quienes ya daban por perdidas a sus mascotas.

La organización Bitter Coffee Stray Dog Base informó que los siete perros pertenecen a tres familias que viven en el mismo vecindario en Jilin, por lo que ya se conocían y solían jugar juntos a diario antes de ser robados. Al verse en una situación de peligro extremo, su instinto de supervivencia los llevó a actuar como una unidad cohesionada.

La policía local ha abierto una investigación oficial sobre el robo de los perros y la posible operación de transporte ilegal. El camión del que escaparon formaría parte de una red de tráfico destinada a suministrar carne de perro a comercios no autorizados.

Hasta el momento, se sabe que los dueños están colaborando con las autoridades locales de Jilin utilizando las pruebas de video virales para intentar localizar el camión del que escaparon los animales.
