@buche21 But perhaps it’s not impossible to do both right? We can start kids early but also force them thinking early too right? I’m actually asking … is time spent making a child literate early, time they don’t spend getting intelligent early?
@NickTCavazos Please do not see this as me calling you out. But nothing the people in the catholic church do should ever make you leave. The fundamental question is whether you think you have a christian calling and who it is from? If it is Christ, then what exactly is the struggle.
@calvinrobinson@chancla4u What? The church is soooo racist that is why its most vibrant population is in Africa. We are just the black face of white catholic racism? LOL
@Gradient_Sports@FootballwGaming Is the microdata publicly available? I’ve been wanting to do this type of analytics myself for fun in R but I don’t know where to find the data.
@buche21 In all those instances, those are different facets of who I am. I think politicians in general (I sense Republicans probably do the same as Dems) are doing this authentically and I think that's the point being made. How many different cultures can one person be.
@buche21@buche21, I don't think when Dem politicians do this it is quite same as what we do. I sound one way when I am in Nigeria, I sound a different way when I am in America. In America, I sound different when I talk to guys I hoop with vs in the office.
@EricRSammons@RCCoulombe I always wonder if the Popes of old where around today, how would they consider the norms of penitential seasons to be given the proclivities of the modern world. Would say Pius X outrightly banned social media use during lent or advent for instance? Just a thought!
@FrMatthewLC@PaulHenry1950@LetsGoBack___ Father, you make a good point but to what extent do you think the implementation of the NOM is causing this high non-attendance amongst those who identify as Catholics? Isn’t it a demerit for the implementation of the NOM if those who claim to be Catholic don’t come to mass?
@matthew161320@roman_orthodoxy For the record, several SSPX chapels were closed during covid as well. This universal resistance of the SSPX to covid policy time that many claim IS A MYTH. However, I do know several FSSP and other diocesan parishes in many places that did very creative things to stay open.
@JeffCassman Yes the FSSP chose to trust in divine providence. It was as though they decided to follow Christ via his Church believing that God would provide. What a terrible idea!
@buche21 I was skeptical about him from the beginning. It doesnt matter. I have lost faith in United. United will not be a great team again until it becomes irrelevant. Thats just my opinion!
@buche21 So I have had to do a lot of research into this. I don't like how RFK Jr is saying certain things I am not sure he is precise enough. But none of the vaccines on the current schedule is truly inert placebo tested i.e. with just salt and water. I get why but its troubling.
Granted I also think United has to fail into obscurity to ever be a good team again. But that’s a separate. I’m not bought into this system and I sense Amorim will be out of a job by Christmas if he continues exposing the flaws of whatever midfield he picks in this 2 man system.
@buche21 I’m afraid I didn’t think much of Amorim before and I’d be surprised if he succeeded at United. I don’t think he could have picked a worse formation for the team he has. 3-4-2-1 is not for this unathletic team. All his best players seem to be out of position.
@LilaGraceRose@LilaGraceRose Mary didn’t say “yes”. She let it be done unto me. I think that shows profound humility to recognize naturally that it is being “done unto her” and not something she gets to say “yes” to.
@theEthanKeller@GavinNewsom@SpeakerJohnson So I get the point but I’m going to be a nerd here and tell you to plot a chloropleth map instead ie voting pattern against crime rates. That way you’ll have one map. I think it will convey the message better. But point well taken.
@MrCasey62 When the Israelites were bitten by snakes in the book of Numbers. God asked Moses to erect the bronze image of a serpent and place it on a stand and whoever looked at it was healed. Why isn’t that God asking his own people to commit idolatry?
