I should've probably said this ages ago, but I've largely decamped to other platforms, guys. Click the links on my profile.
I still tweet from time to time, but I'm just... burned out on this place. Especially the creeping realization that it was always holding me back. 🤷🏿♂️✌🏿
I think the left-right binary is increasingly cooked and passé regardless, but it's fair to say "both sides" frequently fail to understand the other, often relying on dated referents. But yes, "the left" probably fails more often, due to less exposure and less curiosity.
This is probably overstated. Filter bubbles, semantic drift, trendiness, etc, etc. Folks on "both sides" still use some (tho not all) of these.
That said, it *was* cringe when the TV show The Pitt had a "right-coded" senior nurse call a junior doctor "snowflake" for no reason.
There's an entire lexicon kept alive by libtards like a dead language of outdated rw-associated lingo. "Snowflake", "safe space", "cuck", even "redpill" nowadays. These terms have not been used unironically since 2018 at the latest but libs always feel so smug using them.
Not only do they admit doubt, but they openly just do the “wrong” thing without too much worry about whether they’ve been a “good human”. They think about it, try to do right for a minute, but then choose self-interest in the end, like most people usually do. Seinfeld is the most anti-utopian show of all time
Steven Soderbergh will help finish “The Batman Part II” while director Matt Reeves is on hiatus dealing with a personal matter.
Soderbergh said in a statement: “I thought Matt Reeves’ work on ‘The Batman’ was stunning; it was intentional, specific and rigorously coherent. The goal here is to work with Matt and his team to generate footage that will integrate seamlessly with what’s already been shot so Matt can properly finish his film.”
A studio rep said in a statement: “As Matt Reeves continues to attend to an ongoing family matter, Steven Soderbergh, as an admirer of Matt’s work, approached Matt and will step in, with the full support of DC Studios, to help the writer-director complete the final weeks of principal photography on 'The Batman Part 2.' Matt and Steven will work closely together with the actors and crew to fulfill Matt’s vision of the film.”

@notsocrazy24 Sidenote: Beyond the thankful messages from other Zionists, yours is probably the only reply that's not a bot or a troll. This place really is turbo cursed.
I've stayed far away from the radioactive Cornell discourse, but I do want to make one meta-observation.
I spend a lot of time in different corners of the internet, and the two 'sides' of the Cornell story are living in separate universes. Entirely different facts, wildly separate narratives. Spend time in different social media spaces and it's like they're describing two totally distinct incidents.
There's almost no shared reality whatsoever, and that strikes me as really dangerous.
When Roland Fryer sought to improve 20 struggling Houston schools, he implemented five practices: more instructional time, high-dosage tutoring, frequent teacher feedback, data-driven instruction and a culture of high expectations.
The results were extraordinary.
In math, elementary students gained four additional months of learning each year; secondary students gained nearly eight months in a nine-month school year. Every graduating senior in the high schools was admitted to a two- or four-year college.

The biggest dividing line is, or ought to be, between people who will lie vs people who reliably tell the truth.
Even for the relativists who may want to this as a spectrum rather than a binary, it's easy to tell which side of it someone is on after several public statements.
It is wild to realize that people are defending theocrats, bigots, terrorists, rapists, and folks doing the antisemitic equivalent of blackface...all because they think it makes them Good Leftists.
