@Kagey_infohub The red roots are peonies. The dandelion is an idiot. But I like them as it's very rich in nectar and very good for bees. I would leave it and pick the seed head off once it's flowered. If you try and dig it out now you might damage the peony

The Great O Antiphons are a series of short verses which count down the days to Christmas Eve. Sung at the beginning and end of the Magnificat during Evensong, each antiphon begins with a different name for Jesus. They draw on Scripture to help us learn about who Jesus will be, as predicted by the prophets.
Here at Westminster Abbey, these antiphons are sung at Evensong from 16 to 23 December. As we approach Christmas Eve, we'll be sharing a recording of the verses with you on the appointed day for each antiphon. You're invited to observe this Advent tradition with us as we await the coming of Christ at Christmas. Our thanks to Lay Vicar William Balkwill for these beautiful recordings.
We begin today with O Wisdom: 'O Wisdom, which camest out of the mouth of the most high, and reachest from one end to another mightily, and sweetly ordering all things. Come and teach us the way of prudence.'
#FairyTaleTuesday Charming illustration from the book 'Tomten & The Fox' by the creator of Pippi Longstocking. Astrid Lundgren. Featuring artwork by Harald Wisberg, it is the story of a Swedish gnome who takes pity on a hungry fox. Later made into a film.
