I enjoyed participating in the @StThomasUniv Career Expo, getting to share information about our TIPS program and getting to know some of our new Temporary Instructors @SuptDotres@MDCPS_HCMChief@mdcps_profdev @MDCPS_TIPS_
Communication is key. Schools and teachers should communicate in a variety of ways how students and their families will be connecting to their virtual classrooms. Way to set your Gators up for success @GolemanGators.
What a great way to welcome students back to school. Teacher created videos welcoming students and their families is a great way to connect virtually. Sharing something personal about yourself can help students connect with you in this virtual space.
Check out this great resource! We all need support with learning how to embrace online learning and foster protocols that will promote student and educator success. Thank you @SinghNBCT for creating this resource.
I know the challenges & successes of Ts, Ss, & families with online learning. I notice trends in what they need. I also see gaps in the information that is available for them. As a result, I created this online learning guide for educators.๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝhttps://t.co/NaSflxP667

Many of our students will be attending classes virtually. This way of teaching and learning is new for us. We need to reflect on what worked and didn't . We need to share best practices. These are great ideas. #RemoteLearningTips
@teacher2teacher Consistency is EVERYTHING!
1) I make sure to schedule everything to post in our Google Classroom at the same time (8 AM) M-F.
2) All assignments are posted every Monday morning and are due the following Monday morning. This is consistent with my in-class procedures.

@carolmusing @teacher2teacher This is an amazing tip. We have to be flexible during these times. We have to give up some of the control and accept that students are working during nontraditional school hours.
