Day 6 @HipHipHooRae! This week we are starting a novel study with @erinbarker84's grade 9s. Murder mystery set in the 1960s southern USA. Really enjoyed talking with the class about racism, segregation, discrimination, and prejudice #MLKjr #MalcomX #CivilRights

Awesome field trip today! Walked to the Black Creek estuary to see the remains of an Indigenous fishing weir, found and learned about Indigenous plants, and saw the fish counting station. Even with 12k steps and a wind burn, it was such a fun day!
