Private schools in KP have been stopped from charging full fee from students during summer vacations. Private schools will be allowed to charge half fee only to account for their administrative affairs. Also students cannot be charged for the fee of school vans in the vacations

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Private Schools Regulatory Authority has stopped private schools in the province from increasing fees until a unified fee policy is brought into effect.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa textbook board has delivered approximately 48.7 million books to the government schools in the province for the academic year 2018-19. 88% of the target of delivering books has been achieved as of yet.

Province-wide enrollment drive aims to enroll 0.85 million children in schools. The drive is expected to continue till 31st April, 2018.
