if you blame a student for a teacher’s misconduct, especially in a student–teacher relationship where there’s a power imbalance, you’re part of the problem too.
At this stage of his career he is just another player though & Neves comes from an environment where every player works like dogs and PSG have been hugely successful because of how they work together as a TEAM.
People losing their heads at a young man stating the obvious it’s absolutely ridiculous
The hypocrisy about all this is that if it were your daughter/sister the teacher slept with, you wouldn’t be saying “the kids have been tempting the teachers”.
We’re actually on a steep decline in critical thinking and intelligence. 99 percent of Ghanaians are very stupid.
A student behaving inappropriately is one issue and a teacher sleeping with a student is an entirely different issue.
Teachers are adults, professionals and authority figures who are expected to exercise maturity, self control and good judgment. That is exactly why codes of conduct exist. If a student is making advances, the teacher's responsibility is to reject them, set boundaries and report the matter where necessary not engage in a relationship.
No profession excuses misconduct by saying “I was tempted.” Accountability comes with the position. Students can be corrected for inappropriate behavior but the greater responsibility always rests with the adult who is entrusted with their care and education.
So while we can acknowledge that some students may cross boundaries, that should never be used to shift responsibility away from teachers who choose to violate professional and ethical standards.
there’s nothing like “we should agree to disagree and move on” in this.
It's so funny that in 99% of the world, football is represented by barefoot kids in the streets, makeshift goalposts and mismatched jerseys
And then there's the one country where apparently only the wealthy can play it lmao
