@MauriceKilbride @BarclaysUKHelp The Barclays website couldn’t be clearer about the criteria for Green Home mortgages which this property clearly doesn’t qualify for. Also the buyers haven’t exchanged contracts so I wonder if a formal mortgage offer has even been issued. I think the blame may lie elsewhere…
@scobie Unbelievable that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s unofficial spokesperson feels it necessary or appropriate to highlight this to their followers. Extraordinary behaviour, regardless of what Prince Andrew may or may not have done.

We anticipate reduced transactions in Prime Central London over the coming months, although no significant changes in prices in the medium term. Volume may increase towards the end of 2020 as international buyers look to avoid the 2% SDLT surcharge being imposed from next April.
We expect that the majority of prime country houses sold this year will transact privately. Early indications are that there is still an appetite amongst the majority of buyers and competition is still likely to be strong for the best in class.
As the spread of #COVID19 continues we have implemented a number of changes to ensure we continue to deliver an excellent service. Our team are doing all they can via email, telephone and video call and remain committed to unearthing amazing properties for our clients.
