Spending around £35,000 is a small cost to secure such a strong boost for the city
Andy Burnham splurged tens of thousands of pounds on Pride events and festivals last year, figures show, sparking fresh questions from critics about his Makerfield bid https://t.co/gDyyMxdptP

Last summer, Angela Rayner was hosting a barbecue in her garden.
An email invitation shows she wanted to thank her guests for their continued campaigning outside of election time.
“Bring a bottle of your favourite bevvy and let’s have some fun in the sun!” it read...
Ask yourself why Reform is claiming to help workers who work overtime
It’s because their anti-immigration policies will result in a labour shortage
You will have to work overtime to fill the gaps
This isn’t a policy to help you. It’s to help Reform and their corporate backers
Good Lord, this man is insufferable. He assumes he will win and take over the Labour Party. They have 100’s of MP’s is there seriously not one among them good enough to take over? Hopeless Labour!
The Online Safety Act should be repealed.
The principle at its core, to protect children and young people has been abused and used for political advantage.

Andy Burnham was born near Makerfield, went to school near Makerfield, sent his children to school near Makerfield & lives near Makerfield
On the other hand, Reform's leader Nigel Farage is a carpetbagger who has stood for election in 7 different constituencies
Why lie about Andy Burnham's views? Are you scared he'll bring Green voters back to Labour?
He has previously backed rejoining the EU
He is a current supporter of the Labour Campaign for Electoral Reform
He did not say austerity will continue - He simply wants to get debt down
So far Burnham has confirmed:
❌ No return to EU
❌ No electoral reform
❌ Austerity will continue
Give him a few days and he will have endorsed Labour's cuts to disability benefits, the proscription of PA and selling weapons to Israel.
Whether Nigel Farage’s £5 million gift is taxable isn’t the key issue here
The issue is whether it’s unacceptable for politicians to be trying to hide multi-million pound personal donations from the public
I regret to inform you that we will be publishing a detailed analysis this week of the £5m payment to Nigel Farage, and whether it's taxable. It is likely to annoy *everybody*.
(except tax advisers, which is all that matters)
The poem “First They Came” comes to mind
Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews & I did not speak out because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me & there was no one left to speak out for me
Where was your criticism of Nigel Farage when he stood for election in 7 different constituencies?
Farage has never cared about the electorate. He has only ever cared about his own political ambitions
The arrogance of Andy Burnham is absolutely staggering.
He isn’t stepping into Makerfield because he suddenly cares about the people there or wants to fight for the area. He’s doing it to further his own political ambitions and position himself for a future run at Prime Minister.
Makerfield deserves better than being treated as a stepping stone in somebody else’s career plan.
And let’s not forget… Makerfield voted around 65% to leave the European Union. Yet Burnham has already been forced into his first major U-turn after previously backing closer ties with Europe again. Labour simply do not listen. They say one thing to get elected and another once they think they’re safe.
This by-election is historic and people have a real chance to send a message loud and clear to Westminster.
If you live in Makerfield, or know anybody who does, urge them to vote Reform UK.
A vote for Labour is a vote for more of the same.
A vote for Reform UK is a vote for real change, democracy and putting British people first.
The political establishment are taking voters for granted yet again.
Makerfield now has the chance to prove them wrong.

Hamas & the Palestinian Authority are two different things
Hamas is the group that governs the Gaza Strip
PA is the Fatah-controlled body that partially controls the West Bank
They are literally at war with each other
If you’re going to propose laws, do basic research first
We won’t sit back while Jewish Americans are getting attacked in our own country and wait for the next tragedy.
We introduced the No Amnesty for Hamas Sympathizers Act, cutting off all immigration benefits and legal protections for individuals from Palestinian-controlled areas or those holding Palestinian Authority travel documents.
This should never happen in America. This bill slams the door shut and keeps terrorist sympathizers and antisemitic extremists out.
