We should be questioning this? Why was he pushed out? Why retired? Why so quietly? Possibly a situation where a top military official dared to openly disagree and pushback against Trump and Hegseth's building of a military that answers only to them...even if no longer COC? Hmmm..
BREAKING: A top general at the Pentagon was suddenly removed from his senior post earlier this week and has now retired, according to two sources familiar with the situation.

Please understand that this man does not care about our health. This is an empty resolution being used to try and increase Republican votes. Shameful and disgusting!
The problem(s) with the White House’s new women’s health initiative https://t.co/lnxDk9o0zo
This is how you dismantle hate: When an Islamophobe bigot targeted his faith and questioned his loyalty, Abdul El-Sayed delivered a masterful response — invoking John F. Kennedy's historic legacy to firmly declare where his true allegiance lies.
@veiledleaks 100% fucking percent, but I seriously doubt she would do it. As why would she wanna go and get involved back in the cesspool that is Washington D.C. and its governmental frat bros
This is completely outrageous and disgusting. This must immediately be blocked by Congress and Trump should be impeached for this. The US is now funding Putin’s war machine as he murders civilians including children. We are lost as a country.
@ABC Despite all the money he has stolen/misappropriated, our money is still used. So he's not some good guy who's above board doing his best to be respectful of the position & responsibility. He is a greedy, lying malignant sociopath who will always pick himself 1st over anyone else.
Actually it is. Maybe if you did any kind of research into pattern behavior, or victim behavior. Especially when some of the involved persons, or the assaultant, is known to you. Maybe even considered a friend or a loved on. Can you take even one effing minute to stop your judgements and preconceived notions about what a victim should be and what YOU think is the right behavior, dialog, actions etc. And just put yourself in that position. Not oh well if it was me I woulda done this, or I wouldn't be so stupid as to do that. Just put yourself, mind and body, in that situation. You went to a party with a friend, whom you liked probably thought was attractive, and this trusted person has given you alcohol, has given you some fun drugs. I mean why not right. You're young, its a party, your friend is giving them to you so it must be safe, so sure. Then he asks if you wanna hook up with him and his hot friend, who you think is gay, so this is going to be more two guys getting it on and really you just get made out with some, possibly some penetrative sex with one guy. OK yea, that could be fun. Your feeling loose, maybe a little wobbly, can feel your brain starting to get a bit clouded and spacey, but again you're with your friend. He will take care of you. So you're up there. Still being given booze/beer and things are happening. (Now everyone, including you so don't lie, has been in a situation they thought they were in control of.) Things are only going to go so far, but then someone suggests something else or new. Just a small thing so your like, "ok, sure sure I can handle that. I'm still in control." and, all of the sudden your not. It's blown out of control and now you're uncomfortable. You start to say no, you are looking for a way out. For her all of these strange men (now 7) have come in and are trying to touch her, and kiss, and grab. So again this is you. Things are so far out of your control, you don't have your phone so you can't call someone or get a ride. These men are pushing in on you, crowding your space, plying more booze and ketamine on you. You're saying no but you're outnumbered, overwhelmed, feeling like prey. And at this point you will do anything if you think it gets you out of that room. But it doesn't. But now you're in and out of it, losing time and reason and focus, and all you know is your naked on a bed and you keep seeing different men climb on top of you and it goes on and on and on. You wake up the next day and you're disoriented, trying to find your things, trying to remember exactly what happened. You question yourself, and here's the big thing, because of people like you who victim blame you, as a woman, immediately start to think of why this is your fault because if you had just done something different maybe this doesn't happen. When the truth is it shouldn't matter. It shouldn't matter if she walked into that frat butt ass naked. It did not and does not give anyone the right to her body.
I do believe there should be an impartial but thorough investigation. And if she is lying, then I think she should get what is legally appropriate for the perjury and slander. Not only because it was wrong, it undermines true victims when they come forward, but IN THAT case these men would then be victims. The problem here is that you all have already labeled and written her off because you do not value the sanctity of a person's autonomy or womanhood. You are narrow-minded and so far in this conversation misogynistic. Feel free to respond but I am done engaging with you.
@MonicaPinedaE@taylorswift13 I completely agree. Especially following what has been going on in the news regarding the young woman from Cornell. As well as all the other silent horrors that surround us everyday without us knowing.
Let's remember that when your daughter goes to college or enters the workforce and life. Ask her if she ever felt scared, worried, or uncomfortable in a situation just because she choose to do something, or wear something, or say something, or engage in some activity that allowed men with no respect for people's bodies, minds, spirits, orsafety to either 1: behave in a way that clearly makes her uncomfortable. Maybe even says so, and he chooses not to stop because why should he. Why should he care about what she wants. He wants to and he is fine with it. She is just be a "snobby, stuck up, or emotional b¡tch right?" Or 2: Because he obviously has no respect for her body or personhood, he does get her somewhere he can attack her. And now she is trying to say this man assaulted her. This man attacked her. This man violated her. But wait..."Weren't you at that party/functioning/gathering of your own accord? Didn't you wear that little black dress with no back and it ended high on the thighs? We have multiple people who said they say you speak to the accused throughout the night. In fact many said he stood close to you, repeatedly touched you on your arms, shoulders, hands, and one person said he came up behind you and put his hand on you hip in a slight embrace and you didn't say anything to anyone or scream/yell at him to leave you alone? So were you really raped or just regretting your actions the next day?" Huh? So, is you daughter JUST A WHORE? Maybe you should pull your misogyny back and ask yourself if attitude behaviors like yours aren't why we have this problem in the first place. And why victims many times never come forward. #cornellseven #arrestthem
Well first off you misogynist exist a**hole that is not the full statement but a carefully selected portion that obviously ends when she becomes uncomfortable with a previously agreed upon situation devolving into a mass group of men she did not know. In a place she was unfamiliar and had no access to her phone or to leave. A sexual, romantic, or hell even loving, situation or encounter can turn into an unwanted physical interaction of assault. Which, since it apparently needs to be stated out for you, is ANYTHING even verbal but damn well any kind of touch that is unwanted. This is a two way street by the way as females should also not do these things. (Yes I also believe in men's rights. Because unlike you I don't diversify or quantify people by their sex, race, ethnicity, or sexual preferences-minus rapists, pedophiles, and animal fuckery) Also everyone knows that victims can forget, gloss over, or miss details after any kind of violent encounter and that it can take time and several, non leading or judging, interviews to pull out all the details they actually saw/witnessed/encountered. Now add that to a violent gang/train rate of a clearly severally intoxicated woman, as they continued to ply her with booze and drugs, and that women are already predisposed to take fault or blame upon themselves. Because of a**holes like you who put the blame on them instead of the actual perpetrators and it makes sense that her first statement was screaming, "Rape! Rape!" She knew that because she initially agreed to, and let's be clear, a sexual encounter with 2 men (not 7) people would either not believe or they would but have less sympathy because she had initially agreed to a sexual encounter. Refer back, and remember, sexual encounters can start out with acceptance and then at some point become a no. Respect that f@*king no!! Lastly I want you to think about your mom, grandma, wife, daughter, niece, whomever you say you love who is a female. Then put them in Jane Does position. Don't say, "We'll she would never do that." Just put them there, let it play out the same, then ask yourself if the assault wasn't brutal.

@NBCNews This is disgusting. Not only is this woman brutally assaulted, but then Tompkins County District Attorney Matthew Van Houten assaults her in his restating of why he and his office felt there was no reason to bother with any amount of fact finding or investigation.
@taylorswift13 And my apologies to Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell. As without their amazing talent and bringing those emotions so perfectly and immersively to the screen the video would not be what it is. Great work by all
Watching this, listening to the lyrics, you realize what a dark and awful topic it touches on. A truth about so many relationships, where even if the end isn't physical death, it shows the gross imbalance of power so many relationships can hold. And of course because the amazing @taylorswift13 was in charge of making it, it was done in a beautiful, raw, thoughtful, and emotional way. I literally started to cry because I could feel how the gaslighting, and emotional and mental manipulation, was/had tearing/torn these women down. Truly amazing and something I know I will watch over and over. Congratulations on getting the VMA Artist Director Award @taylorswift13
