I have 4 granddaughters ages 6 to 14. I hope they end up with the unapologetic honesty, fierceness, competitive nature and bravery that you show no matter if your battling on the court or speaking your mind without fearing the giant cancel culture machine.

Kudos to you for your success and steady viewpoints. The world could use a bunch more Sophies out there fighting for women and girls and not apologizing for doing so.

I had never watched the WNBA honestly before CC but I have become a fan because of everyone. You all go at each other more strongly than the men do. NBA fan now a WNBA fan. /cheers to all of you but I'm a big Fever fan especially. I finally found a sport that my wife will watch with me. 👏

Undocumented immigrants (and anyone else who doesn't belong) on voter rolls nationwide. Do they matter? Some people say, "It's only a few; don't worry about it." Elections can be won or lost by a single vote. So I think it matters.

How about the health and accuracy of the voter rolls period across the different jurisdictions in the country? People who should not be registered to vote for any specified reason. Citizens and non-citizens alike.

Let's not have blinders on and only be concerned about immigrants, but about all voters who should not be on the voter rolls for a myriad of reasons.

What can we do to ensure that the voter registration data is accurate? Nothing really. For example:

19 states allow undocumented individuals to get driver's licenses. Not just people with visas or green cards. Completely undocumented. Pair that with states that have configured their DMV software so that the voter registration system automatically registers a person to vote when they get or update their driver's license.

This twists the Motor Voter law, which is covered by the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 ("NVRA"). It was supposed to require states to offer the opportunity to register to vote when getting or changing a driver's license if the individual chooses to 'opt-in' to this process at the DMV.

Now some states have enacted legislation that automatically registers anyone who gets or changes their DL to vote and sends data to the Voter Registration department, which is used to add them to the voter rolls. The person must manually 'opt-out' for this not to happen.

There are supposed to be safeguards that keep people that shouldn't be registered to vote from being automatically added in this process. The data exchange between the DMV and the Voter Registration Office. Two separate entities.

But this software on both sides, the code and the databases that stores are passes this data back and forth either exports/imports or or direct connections between the two system using purely the code and Insert/Update triggers is written and maintained by people at the state level and verified by 'third party auditors'. People that have agendas and biases. And when those people move on or retire they are replaced with new people that have their own agendas and biases to maintain/control the system.

This doesn't affect only the undocumented but all people that get or change their DMV. Software can be wrong. completely by accident. And if the people in charge are using pristine test data to validate the process then any problems with the software could easily go unnoticed.

Unfortunately this process from beginning to end is controlled by each states government and their vendors. We as citizens cannot look at this process, it's logic and test it's accuracy. We are told not to worry about it and just trust.

Something like this should not be proprietary software for a specific state/vendor that needs to be kept secret and hidden from other states and their vendors. A process like this should be identical across jurisdictions.

Wee the people should be able to inspect this software and verify it's accuracy. It's kind of important I believe.

But, as it stands this entire process (software, websites, databases, import/export file layouts etcetera is hidden from our eyes. Again it's just for particular state officials and their 3rd party auditors.

Now tie this entire process to states (eight so far, all ran by the left by coincidence) that also automatically send Vote by Mail ballots to all active people on their voter rolls without any request from the voters for General Elections.

Now we are really cooking.

Most voter registration information is supposed to be public record. Let us set up a committee of citizens that can view the data, the software and data bases and be able to run our own test scenarios. Just a test system running the same versions of this that are being used live by states and counties.

Do you want to quiet all the talk about problems with the voter data? Here is an easy step to easy the fears and stop the rhetoric around this.

Simply sprinkle some transparency onto the process.

My apologies for the length and any coherence issues as this was just off the cuff as they say.

Does this seem like an outrageous or even impossible request to ask of our government?

Violent protesters? Guilty of obstruction? Blocking traffic? Yes.

Obama deported 3.5 million people and there were no violent protests? There was There were some marches and vigils but no violence like we see right now.

Here's why (in my opinion).

When Obama did it conservatives were okay with it. Liberals were not but they fear their own party and toe the line and give their silent consent so they won't be disenfranchised by their own party.

Now however, conservatives are still okay with it but liberals are now free to screech and attack law enforcement. Because in 2015 Trump became a Republican and went on to defeat the great Hillary Clinton. This betrayal has never been forgotten or forgiven and the hate and vitriol still revolves around this one fact.

If Trump cured cancer people would march against it.
