The Cape Independence Advocacy Group says it intends to send a delegation to the US where it will raise funds and garner diplomatic support for its campaign to have an independent Western Cape. The group says it has written to President Cyril Ramaphosa, the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation and the Western Cape premier formally notifying them of their plans. I have just finished watching this ANC conference held in 1991 in KZN.
You cannot help but shed tears seeing how focused the ANC leaders were and how things have now turned out.
I went to university with ANC and PAC comrades, some of whom are now generals.
That is why I admired their determination and focus, because I witnessed it.
What went wrong?
