I started training BJJ right before my 36th birthday.

Now at age 63, I'm still trying to get better.

I'm also trying to find ways to be effective that can keep me training as I age.

One of the other benefits of training Jiu Jitsu as an older athlete, is that you are aware that you can injure yourself if you are reckless.

I notice that some teenagers have zero fear of injury. This allows them to move with little restriction, but likely increases their chance of injury.
