Gauteng has cleared its cancer treatment backlog, ensuring faster access to care. The Department of Health is strengthening cancer prevention, screening, and specialised treatment across the province.
Remember, early detection gives treatment its best chance to work. Get screened for cancer through your nearest healthcare facility. #WorldCancerDay #AsibeHealthyGP #GrowingGautengTogether
I hope Warrasโ death sparks real outrage! Crime is choking Mzansi. We should live in inner-city buildings, not rent far away & waste thousands on transport. Weโve failed, prime spaces belong to criminals. Bryanston has a squatter camp, image! We are NOT angry enough. Iโm gatvol!
Every hijacked building in our cities must be expropriated without compensation. Owners abandoned them, criminals took over. Reclaim these spaces, restore order, and make our cities safe again. Urgent action is non-negotiable!
Respect to @Chriseldalewis for waiting for the family before confirming Warrasโ passing. RIP to the Shady Lurker. If his death is tied to building hijackings, law enforcement & government must act NOW. Our cities arenโt safe, weโre scared to walk or even drive. Enough is enough!
โHumble yourself, humility goes a long way.โ A very insightful and enlightening engagement between seasoned communicator and author of Being A Spokesperson, @themba_s16 and my mentor and boss, @SamuelModiba.
The four leading causes of death during the festive season are shooting, stabbing and assault related, and motor vehicle accidents. Some of these can be prevented if we practice precautionary measures such as not drinking and driving, being more vigilant on the road and avoiding quarrels. Think of your loved ones before engaging in reckless behaviour that can make your final address to be Six Feet Under prematurely.

Behind my graduation cap for a Master of Public Management lies the support of my late mother whom we lost in the past week. As I celebrate this achievement, i also celebrate your support. Your faith in me has shaped my academic journey. Lala ngoxolo Maceduma โค๏ธ๐๐พ

As part of National Traditional Medicine day, which is celebrated annually on the 31st of August, @GautengHealth joined traditional healers in celebrating indigenous medicine and recognised their role in the health sector while educating the public about traditional healing.
The Department recognises the role African Traditional Medicine plays as a beneficial alternative in our communities. It is therefore important that we organise the sector to facilitate engagement and collaborate.
