We used AI early in development to explore the atmosphere of Otherworld Chronicles.
A dark and unsettling world, but one still grounded in realism and history.
These are AI-generated inspiration images, not final in-game visuals.

Battle through waves of invaders in Zerium War: Destiny, a sci-fi Roguelite RPG.
A demo is already available to play on Steam.

This is a story fragment from the world of Otherworld Chronicles.
Apton was not always a ruined town.
War, division, and old hatred slowly reshaped it into what it is today.

We’re designing the third region of #OtherworldChronicles
An ancient church where mysterious rituals once took place — and one of the most important locations in the game’s prologue.
Here, you’ll encounter a boss centered around “fire.”

Our team is finally coming back together.
We’re continuing development on Zerium War: Destiny, and one of the next big steps will be replacing and upgrading the game’s art assets.
Excited to show more soon.

We love Lovecraftian worlds. But we also love stories about power struggles, old families, and ancient grudges.
So in Otherworld Chronicles, you’ll see conflicts between races, factions, and bloodlines
It’s a fascinating world for us to write.

We’ve designed the combat in our game to be turn-based, with a feel somewhat similar to tabletop RPGs.
By exploring the maze, you’ll collect items and gain ability points to prepare for tougher encounters.

@swarmoclock@kantallive Our store page was already live, so we reached out to Steam support directly.
We provided them with our default English title (“Otherworld Chronicles”) and the localized titles for other languages, and they helped us update it on their end.
We’ve successfully localized our store page title! 🎉
Huge thanks to Steam Support for the help, and to @kantallive for pointing out how important it is to display the English title.
Really appreciate it 🙏

We’re now building the third region of the map in Otherworld Chronicles.
And we’ve been adding side stories along the way — just to make exploration a bit more fun.

Following the clues, you may find your way to a small town called Apton.
There, a crumbling wall divides the town into north and south…
and the locals still speak of a fire that once filled it with fear.

We’ve created many factions across the world of Otherworld Chronicles — far more than the five shown here.
Some are bound by loyalty.
Some compete for power.
And in your journey, they may become your allies… or your enemies.

@Flairsterz@kantallive We carry stories in our minds, and visuals are often the most direct way to communicate them.
To me, the value of AI is that it gives more people the ability to express the ideas they have in their heads.
@Flairsterz@kantallive I think any kind of creative work is a form of design.
Sharing ideas like this is something genuinely meaningful and enjoyable. Everyone has their own way of expressing creativity.
@Flairsterz@kantallive Adding damage details like scratches and dents definitely helps sell that high-speed battle feeling.
The overall atmosphere in the images is already really strong. The only small thing I noticed is that there’s quite a bit of noise/grain in some of them — reducing it slightly.
