The more peopel are into quick fix and focus on the acute problems and pain,
the more that very approach contributes to the underlying chronic condition.
we must learn to listen.
And this requires emotional strength.
Listening involves:
patience,
openness,
and the desire to understand
all highly developed qualities of character
It is simply impossible to violate, ignore, or shortcut this development process.
It is contrary to nature, and attempting to seek such a shortcut only results in disappointment and frustration.
The more aware we’re of our paradigms, assumptions
and the extent to which we’ve been influenced by our experience
the more we can take responsibility for those paradigms
examine and test against reality
listen to others & get a larger picture and more objective view.

People will forgive mistakes, because mistakes are usually of the mind, mistakes of judgment.
But people will not easily forgive the mistakes of the heart,
the ill intention,
the bad motives,
the prideful justifying cover-up of the first mistake.
