I finally realized after years of struggling with self-rejection that if God, who is perfect, could accept and love me, I could too. Today I needed to be reminded of this truth and thought it might also encourage you. #JoyceQuote
The Scripture says what God has blessed no man can curse. The blessing on you is more powerful than any betrayal, than any negative word spoken over you, than how you were raised, than people trying to discredit you.
Jesus told Thomas, “Because you’ve seen Me, you have believed. But blessed are those who have not seen, yet believe.” You haven’t seen it, but you keep believing. God says you are blessed.
Where God is taking you, the amazing future He has planned is going to require you to believe without a sign, to trust Him when there’s no evidence. If you have to see everything to stay encouraged, see it to keep believing, it will limit how high you will go.
The Scripture says, “God makes all things beautiful in its time.” Give God time to work it out. Just because you don’t see anything happening doesn’t mean God’s not working. He’s not going to bring you out the same; He’s going to bring you out better.
You have to have a holy determination, a made-up mind, where you dig your heels in and say, “I am in it for the long haul.” The victory is going to come through outlasting it.
Get your joy back. When you have your joy, you’re showing God that you trust Him. When the enemy brings trouble, he expects you to fall apart. But when you say, “Yet will I rejoice,” you give the enemy a nervous breakdown. If he can’t steal your joy, he can’t defeat you.
Look back at what God has already brought you through and delivered you from. Don't look at how far you have to go. Look at how far you've come. #JoyceQuote
The Sovereign Lord has good things for you. It’s not based on how well you perform, who likes you, what family you come from, what the economy does. These are blessings, favor, breakthroughs that God has for you.
God is saying to us today, “Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and hold you with My victorious right hand.” Let's keep moving forward. Our greatest days are still in front of us!
It’s not up to you; it's up to God. What He’s already decided is going to happen. The good news is God has decided to favor you. He’s decided to rescue you. He's decided to be good to you.
Don’t try to understand everything that happens along the way. God works in mysterious ways. If you’re trying to figure everything out, you’re going to get confused. There are things you’re not supposed to understand; that’s what faith is all about.
We can feel alone. But what you may not realize is that there is a God who has His eyes on you. The All-Powerful Creator of the universe is closely watching you, standing by to defend you, to protect you.
Tune into Joel’s message, "I Will Not Fear"! https://t.co/fzO8ZeVnAZ
Where He’s leading you is going to be better than you’ve imagined. The reason it’s taking longer is because it’s going to be bigger than you thought, more rewarding, more fulfilling.
Jeremiah wrote, “God’s plans for you are for good, to give you a future and a hope.” Part of His sovereign will is to be good to you. There are blessings coming that are unstoppable.
