I was dying when He said to me, "Live!” and I lived.
Who else will I now live for?
Who else shall I love?
What else shall I trust but Jesus, the beautiful One?
In Ezekiel 16, God shows us that when He brings Israel into covenant with Himself, He does not find an attractive, willing partner; He finds an abandoned, unwashed newborn left to die in an open field. He commands life, washes away her blood, and covers her nakedness. This is the picture of redemption: God giving life to the helpless and making them His own out of lavish love. From Genesis to the Epistles, the overarching story of redemption is God taking the initiative to bring humanity back to Himself.
God demonstrates this in His covenant with Abraham. In the covenant ceremony, walking between the animal pieces signified accepting the penalty for breaking the agreement. Yet Abraham was in a deep sleep, and God passed through the pieces alone. The full weight of the promise rested on God’s faithfulness. Left to ourselves, the desire to do good may exist, but the power to carry it out is absent. Salvation is entirely God’s gift. Even our obedience, endurance, and good works depend on God working in us both to will and to act.
This was the truth the Reformers sought to recover and proclaim: salvation is God’s gift from beginning to end. Even our faith and obedience depend on His grace, leaving us nothing to boast about. This should make us confident in prayer, quick to return to Christ in repentance, and humble towards others.

I have said it before that if you think the Nigerian church has no hand in the way the country is at the moment, you are full of lies.
People do not really care about the well-being and welfare of others as long as they have more than others. They even make it prayer points.
I’m not voting for you on Lagos life if your campaign strategy is sharing money
We are going through a weird economic period
Billions basically have no value. I need a serious candidate
